EYES AND SIGHT

 How do eyes work?

Eyes work by taking pictures of the objects  around us and sending them to the brain.Light from an object passes through the lens in the middle of the eye. This lens focuses the light onto the retina at the back of the eye. The retina changes light patterns into signals that it sends to the brain. The brain changes the signals into a picture to tell us that what our eyes are seeing.
When we look at an object in front of us, each eye sees it from a slightly different angle. The brain combines the images from these two angles into a three dimensional image.

Some curious heads may  ask that why need two eyes .
So the answer is_ We need two eyes because the help us see things properly. Each eye gives the brain a slightly different view of something, and the brain uses those little differences to work out exactly how far away the object is. Having depth perception helps us do things like catch a ball, shake hands or  pick up a pin.
